Whoaa, it's June 28 now and I still haven't had my competency review. When I had it last term, it went poorly since I had been working only for 3 months, and it wasn't enough to claim for competency levels beyond those poor "basic"s. My manager told me that it is company's policy to not count in whatever experience acquired in college nor in prior employers. T_T
I've been assigned in project utilising .net technology for only one month, but one friend of mine told me that "working" level would be only granted to those who have at least 9 months experience in the technology, so I reckoned I would have another "basic" this time. As a matter of fact, I've been using .net since I was in college so I feel deserve to claim higher one. But with this evaluation scheme, I should never expect much.
Anyway, I don't care whether they permit me claiming for "working" level or not, since ... you know what? The evaluation scheme is not the only scheme exists.
